Role Description
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a critical role in the expansion of the agency by identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving sales initiatives. Your key focus will be on acquiring new clients, nurturing existing ones, and helping to shape the agency’s growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Client Acquisition: Identify and target new business opportunities through market research, networking, and outreach.
Sales Strategy: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, ensuring their marketing needs are met.
Proposal Development: Collaborate with the creative and account teams to develop tailored proposals and pitch presentations that meet client requirements.
Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs to identify business opportunities.
Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Prepare regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
Networking & Partnerships: Attend industry events, conferences, and meetings to establish a network of contacts and generate leads.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (creative, digital marketing, account management) to ensure client satisfaction and successful project execution.
Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations with potential clients, manage pricing structures, and close deals to maximize revenue.
Key Qualifications:
Experience: 1-3 years of business development experience in a marketing agency or digital marketing environment.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
Skills:
– Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
– Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
– Strong understanding of digital marketing, branding, and creative services.
– Ability to build long-term client relationships and understand client needs.
